I am a vocalist with the band and a sometime guitarist, pianist, and bass player. I have been with the band since 1994. I was a member of AFM Local136 when I joined the Esquires, and have been ever since. I have received my Masters degree from Marshall University in Jazz Studies. I have taught at Marshall as a grad assistant and an adjunct professor for the Jazz Improvisation class. I play with the Bill Spurlock jazz orchesstra, with the faculty jazz group Bluetrane at Marshall, and have played gigs with Wynton Marsailes, Bob Thompson, Bill Prince, Marvin Stamm, Terry Gibbs, Alvin Batiste, Jerry Coker, Joe Pocarro, Marty Erickson, and more. I have sung with the Huntington Pops under the direction of Richard Haymen (formerly of the Boston Pops).
