Began playing sax in the 5th grade, first onstage performance was the 9th grade with a band called the Mustangs playing songs of the Beatles and other early sixties stars. Began a band called the Pagans, played in high school with The Chimes and The Royals and at West Virginia University with the Magnificent Men and finally in college with Jada and the Hunters. Joined the Esquires in 1992 and have played throughout the Mideast region of the United States as well as the 1995 whirlwind tour of Moscow, Russia.
